ITINERARY : -

Day 1 Start of tour in Rome - Florence - Venice

Few cities in the world contain so many stunning works of art in such a small space as Florence. You will be taken along the “Viali di Circonvallazione” all the way to Fiesole, hill-town of Etruscan origins and a must for any visitor because of it’s spectacular view of Florence. On the way back towards Florence, you will be able to see the Soccer Stadium “Artemio Franchi” . You will continue the city tour along the River Arno in the historical center of Florence and you will see the National Library and the Church of Santa Croce, the burial place of some of the most brilliant Italian personalities, such as Michelangelo, Galileo, Machiavelli and Rossini. Here you will continue walking with your tour leader to reach Piazza della Signoria, and get into the Uffizi Gallery that houses the most important collections of art of all the time: Giotto, Masaccio, Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raffaello, Tiziano and many others. Overnight at Mestre.

Day 02 LJUBLJANA : Explore Venice Island. Visit Ljubljana.

Embark on an orientation walk with your tour leader. See the world-famous St. Mark’s Square, Grand Canal and Rialto Bridge. The evening is free to explore. Be sure to sample local cuisine at one of the many bars and restaurants! Later, why not take a gondola ride on the iconic canals and admire the sights from the water? After lunch proceed towards Ljubljana. On arrival directly check-in to your hotel. Later start your walking tour with your tour leader. Start out from Preseren Square, the capital city’s main square, continuing on to the Ljubljanica, which is the city's main river. Admire splendid views from Ljubljana’s many bridges, stop to take a photo with the famous Ljubljana Dragon. You can take the funicular up to visit Ljubljana castle – the magnificent fortress above the city – and enjoy superb views from the tower. Overnight at Ljubljana.

Day 03 BUDAPEST : Cruise on the Danube. Budapest city tour.

After early breakfast we shall proceed towards Budapest. We will discover Budapest (known as the “Queen of the Danube”) on a boat tour along the river. Budapest is divided by the Danube River, with historic Buda on one side and cosmopoli­tan Pest on the opposite side. Time for lunch, followed by a scenic tour of the city. Begin from city downtown, and cross the Széchenyi Chain Bridge to visit the hilly Buda side. Walk through the beautiful Castle District the Gothic-style Matthias Church and the Fisherman’s Bastion. Continue the tour with a drive up the next hill to the lush Gellért Hill, and admire the Citadel on the top before continuing the tour to the Pest quarter on the east side of the river. Visit the Central Market Hall to discover the freshest Hungarian food, and then continue on to the National Museum and the Jewish Quarter. Next, take the Andrássy Avenue pass by the fascinating State Opera House, stopping for a visit at the impressive Heroes' Square. Continue on with a walk through City Park, pass Vajdahunyad Castle, and visit St. Stephen’s Basilica. After the tour enjoy some leisure time. At the end of the day we finish in the lively area of Vaci Utca, where there are lots of opportunities to take your dinner.

Day 04 VIENNA : Time to explore Bratislava. City tour of Vienna.

We will leave Budapest for Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia and a city alongside the Danube. With an attractive historic center, take time to see the city and enjoy lunch. You will discover the Opera House and Reduta Building, passing along the "man at work" statue and Schoner Natzi statue to arrive to Bratislava's Main Square. You will then pause at the Roland Fountain where you will here of legends about the famous knight Roland, as well as about the coronation festivities of Hungarian kings in Bratislava. After lunch we will continue our journey to Vienna. Being the former capital of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, Vienna has lots to offer. Our Vienna Tour will introduce you to the Old Town and with tour leader you will visit St. Stephen Cathedral, The Castle Hofburg, Kartner Strasse with its fabulous boutiques and the Museum District, the magnificent Vienna Opera, City Hall and the Parliament. Discover the impressive palaces of Schonbrunn as well as Belvedere. You can’t miss the modern architecture – Hundredwasser House. Overnight at Vienna.

Day 05 PRAGUE : Prague City Tour.

Continue your journey towards Prague. We will take you to the main highlights of Prague as well as some of the hidden gems off the main touristic paths. We will cover the areas of the Old Town, the Lesser Town, the Prague Castle and the New Town. Take a stroll with your tour leader around the narrow streets of the historical center or enjoy the comfortable ride in minivan as you move between places, step out and let your tour leader take you around, hop back into the car/minivan and continue. Check-in to your hotel by evening. Overnight at Prague.

Day 06 BERLIN : Dresden - Berlin The first stop today is in the German city of Dresden. Virtually rebuilt from the ground up after bombing attacks in WW2 destroyed the city centre, today Dresden is immaculate and stylish. Embark on an orientation walk of the city and enjoy some free time to explore. Try some of the local German food, such as Bratwurst, and have a wander around the beautifully paved streets. Then, head to Berlin, the capital of Germany. Arrive and head out on a driving tour. Visit poignant locations such as the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag, the Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe and Checkpoint Charlie.

Day 07 BERLIN: Free Day Enjoy a free day to further explore the history of the German capital! The Berlin Wall stands as a sombre reminder of the controls imposed on Berlin during and after WW2, however, the bright street art that adorns it today seems to give it a peaceful purpose. Berlin also offers numerous free museums and galleries to visit, which all contribute to the understanding of this city's modern history. A great optional which showcases the highlights of the city is the Berlin tour. Join to visit some of the city’s top attractions and gain a deeper insight into Berlin’s history as well as its modern culture today.

Day 08 AMSTERDAM : Berlin - Amsterdam

This morning, say auf Wiedersehen to Germany as the tour journeys on to the Netherlands. Watch as the landscape changes to windmills and waterways while approaching the capital city of Amsterdam. This evening, enjoy a twilight canal cruise, accompanied by interesting commentary about the city’s development and history. Afterwards, head for dinner at a local restaurant. The rest of the evening is free to enjoy the bars and cafés or even visit the famous Red Light District! Day 10 Fly back home Your memorable Holiday ends. Today it’s time to fly back home.
