Day 1 Welcome to Vienna
Welcome to Vienna! Upon arrival we will transfer you to your hotel. Enjoy this afternoon to explore this city.
Day 2 Vienna, Schonbrunn and the Habsburgs
Join our Local Expert on a tour of Maria Theresa's magnificent Schönbrunn Palace and its formal gardens. Be transported to a time of opulence and extravagance, as you marvel at the intricacies of gilded Rococo frames, frescoed ceilings and crystal chandeliers. See the city's many highlights, including St. Charles' Church, the Hofburg Palace, Parliament and State Opera House.
Day 3 On to Salzburg
A short a drive through wonderful Austrian countryside leads us to Salzburg. En route, visit Melk Abbey and Mondsee's Basilica St. Michael, easily recognizable due to its appearance in 'Sound of Music'. Enjoy drive to your first stop in the town of Durnstein. Admire its charming architecture and scenic location nestled by the River Danube River in the Wachau Valley. Next, get ready to marvel at the famous Melk Abbey with a chance to explore inside. On to Salzburg & visit Mondsee's Basilica St. Michael.
Day 4 Hallstatt & The city of Mozart.
After breakfast move on to picturesque Hallstatt. Whet your appetite with some tasting of local products then soak up the village sights including some free time to explore on your own. Retuen to Salzburg where your Local expert will show you the formal gardens of Mirabell Palace, Residenzplatz, the city's imposing fortress, and the immense cathedral in the Old Town. Visit Mozart's birthplace where you will enjoy a pianoforte demonstration and examine letters, memorabilia, and musical instruments of the great composer.
Day 5 On to Venice
Leave Salzburg this morning and head to the city of canals and gondolas. As you cross Austria and move closer to Venice, each mile will greet you with some of the most scenic views of the majestic Austrian Alps, rolling hills, and lush forests as you venture to Venice, the 'Queen of the Adriatic'. And then...Venice! Arrive and embark on an orientation walk. See the world-famous St. Mark’s Square, Grand Canal and Rialto Bridge. The evening is free to explore. Be sure to sample local cuisine at one of the many bars and restaurants! Later, why not take a gondola ride on the iconic canals and admire the sights from the water? Overnight at Venice.
Day 6 City tour of Florence.
After Breakfast we will proceed towards Florence. Few cities in the world contain so many stunning works of art in such a small space as Florence. You will be taken along the “Viali di Circonvallazione” all the way to Fiesole, hill-town of Etruscan origins and a must for any visitor because of it’s spectacular view of Florence. On the way back towards Florence, you will be able to see the Soccer Stadium “Artemio Franchi” . Start your visit in Piazza Repubblica and follow in the footsteps of Dante Alighieri. Discover Piazza della Signoria and cross the arch bridge of Ponte Vecchio over the Arno River. Enjoy free time to explore the city on your own with plenty to see, including the Accademia Gallery Museum where you can admire Michelangelo's David, or see the Florence Cathedral in Piazza del Duomo. Afterward, you´ll continue your journey towards Rome.
Day 07 ROME : Free Day or Explore Rome
You may join a Local Specialist for a sightseeing tour to see the sights of this extraordinary city. Follow in the footsteps of ancient Romans and experience the modern city of Rome through the eyes of a local. We cross the Tiber River into Ancient Rome to delve into what was once the largest empire in the world and view such ancient sites as the imposing Colosseum where brave gladiators and slaves duelled to their deaths.
Day 8 Visit UNESCO World Heritage site Cinque Terre with Leaning Tower of Pisa.
After breakfast we shall proceed towards Pisa. Your experience starts through the enchanting landscapes of Tuscany, leading you to the timeless city of Pisa, renowned for its architectural marvels. As you step into the historic heart of Pisa, tour leader will unveil the secrets of Piazza dei Miracoli, a Unesco World Heritage Site, where you'll be spellbound by the "Miracles" that once earned this place its name. The centerpieces of this magnificent square are the awe-inspiring Cathedral, a masterpiece of Pisan Romanesque architecture and the iconic Leaning Tower, a global wonder that stands as a testament to both history and architectural prowess. Continue your journey to the breathtaking Cinque Terre, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Your first stop is Manarola, the oldest and one of the most picturesque villages. Wander through its charming streets, admire the colorful houses clinging to the cliffs, and take in the stunning views of the Ligurian Sea. Next, head to Corniglia, perched high above the sea. Enjoy a leisurely stroll through its narrow lanes, savoring the tranquil atmosphere and panoramic vistas. Be sure to taste some local wine, as Corniglia is renowned for its vineyards. Your final stop is Monterosso al Mare, the largest of the Cinque Terre villages. Here, you can relax on the beautiful sandy beaches, explore the historic center with its quaint shops and cafes, and perhaps enjoy a delicious seafood meal with a view of the crystal-clear waters. Continue your journey to Portofino.
Day 09 NICE : Explore French Riviera.
Today after early breakfast continue your journey towards French riviera. You’ll drive into the hills above Monaco and stop in the medieval village of Eze, most prestigious village on the French Riviera, has two features. It is at once a hilltop village and a small seaside resort, with protected beaches. Take in the fantastic views and the world-famous perfume factory Fragonard. In the city of Monte-Carlo aera, the casino is the symbol of Monegasque glamour. Its legendary success lies behind Monaco's wealth. Your tour leader will also take you for a drive on the Monaco Grand Prix track. The drive then takes you to Nice. In Nice you will spend free time in the old town, you enter as if walking into a labyrinth. Following a tangled thread of streets, you walk past ochre, red and yellow houses with half-open shutters. In this maze, let youself be guided by the scent of herbes de Provence (Provencal herbs), pissaladiére and traditional socca. In the squares, both large and small, you can savour a pastis or a lemon ice cream. In every nook and cranny, Baroque palaces and churches reveal their endless treasures. Overnight at Nice.
Day 10 LYON : Explore French Riviera
Start your tour from Nice to Cannes. Walk down the famous Croisette promenade, the emblem of Cannes. Discover the Palace of Festivals with its red carpet, the home of the famous Cannes Film Festival. Continue to Antibes, one of France’s oldest cities which was founded by Greek merchants in the 5th century and where nowadays genuine Provencal Market goers and rich yacht-owners meet. Discover an attractive seafront area, historic buildings, and an interesting old town with a traditional market. Finally, explore St Paul de Vence, one of the oldest medieval towns on the French Riviera perched between the Mediterranean Sea and the southern Alpes. Observe the rich artistic heritage through the town’s many workshops and art galleries. See how St Paul de Vence is the cradle of artists, writers, poets (Prévert, Pagnol), and painters (Chagall, Picasso, Matisse). Afterwards Proceed to Lyon, Enroute visit Aix - en - Provence. Stroll on the famous Cours Mirabeau dotted with refreshing fountains. Admire the private mansions from 17th and 18th centuries. Free time before drive to Lyon.
Day 11 PARIS : On to Paris
After breakfast we shall proceed to Paris. On arrival we drop you at your city centre hotel book by yourself & self check in to your hotel. Discover the City of Light with your travel card(optional). Our flexible routes allow you to immerse yourself in the culture and beauty of Paris with ease. Board at any Tram/Metro/bus and enjoy fascinating facts and stories as you pass through the city’s most iconic landmarks and attractions like Cathedral Notre Dame de Paris, Pont Neuf, etc. Overnight at your standard hotel at Paris(own accommodation).
Day 12 Fly back home Your memorable Holiday ends.
