Itinerary : -

Day 01 FLORENCE : Orvieto & Civita Bagnoregio Tour. Florence city tour.

First, get picked up from your hotel in central Rome & proceed towards Bagnoregio. When you arrive, take a stroll around Civita di Bagnoregio which was founded by Etruscans more than 2,500 years ago. The town is noted for its striking position on top of a plateau between the two valleys called Fossato del Rio Torbido and Fossato del Rio Chiaro. Continue the tour to Orvieto, another small town of Etruscan origins where you can admire the magnificent 14th-century cathedral, a masterpiece of gothic architecture. Visit the remarkable Pozzo di San Patrizio, a historic well that was built by architect-engineer Antonio da Sangallo the Younger of Florence in the 16th Century. After lunch we proceed towards Florence. Few cities in the world contain so many stunning works of art in such a small space as Florence. Once you arrive in Florence you will be taken along the “Viali di Circonvallazione” all the way to Fiesole, hill-town of Etruscan origins and a must for any visitor because of it’s spectacular view of Florence. On the way back towards Florence, you will be able to see the Soccer Stadium “Artemio Franchi” . You will continue the city tour along the River Arno in the historical center of Florence and you will see the National Library and the Church of Santa Croce, the burial place of some of the most brilliant Italian personalities, such as Michelangelo, Galileo, Machiavelli and Rossini. Here you will continue walking with your driver- guide to reach Piazza della Signoria, and can get into the Uffizi Gallery that houses the most important collections of art of all the time: Giotto, Masaccio, Botticelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raffaello, Tiziano and many others.

Day 02 GENOA : Visit Cinque Terre. Visit Leaning Tower of Pisa.

Your experience starts through the enchanting landscapes of Tuscany, leading you to the timeless city of Pisa, renowned for its architectural marvels. As you step into the historic heart of Pisa, tour leader will unveil the secrets of Piazza dei Miracoli, a Unesco World Heritage Site, where you'll be spellbound by the "Miracles" that once earned this place its name. The centerpieces of this magnificent square are the awe-inspiring Cathedral, a masterpiece of Pisan Romanesque architecture and the iconic Leaning Tower, a global wonder that stands as a testament to both history and architectural prowess. Drive across the rolling hills of Tuscany and past the Carrara marble quarries en route to Riomaggiore. the town of Riomaggiore dates back to around the 7th century and is an example of the beauty of the Cinque Terre and their natural environment, dominated by Mediterranean vegetation. The houses are painted with the typical Ligurian colors and develop in height on two or three floors, and famous for La Via dell'Amore, a path that connects Riomaggiore to Manarola, famous for its enchanting and unforgettable views. Continue to Manarola, a picture-postcard village of painted houses surrounded by vineyards and olive groves. Transfer by train to Vernazza, considered the “Pearl of Cinque Terre.” Vernazza is arguably the most beautiful of the five villages, with a large open harbor, castle, and church. Our last stop is medieval village of Monterosso al Mare the largest village in the Cinque Terre.you can admire, one after the other, in a disorder of perfect harmony, caves, inlets, rocks, headlands, small beaches and rocky coasts with cliffs overlooking the sea. Once you have visited Monterosso, continue your journey towards Genoa.

Day 03 LECCO : Visit Portofino with Genoa city Tour.

Genoa, the largest medieval town in Europe, maintains the charm of the ancient maritime republic. Your day will start in the ancient harbor, renovated in 1992 by the architect Renzo Piano. Here, your friendly and professional tour leader will lead you through the labyrinth of narrow alleyways of the old town to discover the many attractions of this city. After free time continue for a scenic ride following the Tigullio Gulf, nicknamed the Dolphins Gulf due to the large school of dolphins that are often spotted there, to reach the colorful village of Santa Margherita Ligure. Here, take the boat(own expense) for a mini-cruise to the charming fishing village of Portofino, a half-moon shaped seaside village whose beauty has been narrated across the millennia by writers and poets such as Guy de Maupassant. The journey will end with a return by boat. As Potofino is car free zone so you can also cover by public transport or by foot. Portofino is just 05Km away from Santa Margherita. Later proceed towards Milan to catch your train to Lecco.

Day 04 LECCO : Explore Lecco & surroundings.

The Erna Piani is a mountain resort accessed by cable car (the base of which can be reached by bus number 5 from Lecco). There's a stunning viewpoint at the peak and hiking trails – in winter there's sledding and snoeshoeing. Lecco is on the eastern branch of Lake Como and the area's beaches are a welcome escape from Lake Como's busier shores. There are public beaches close to town: Orsa Maggiore is the closest (next to the road, fairly busy with a beach bar and wakeboarding), others can be reached by train. This lakeside town has a rich history and you should seek out the Basilica of Saint Nicholas, Visconti Bridge and the Bell tower of Basilica San Nicolò. (Italy's second highest). Stop in the principal square, Piazza XX Settembre, for a bite to eat or coffee. Overnight at Lecco.

Day 05 LUCERNE : Lecco - Tirano - Chur - Lucerne.

Enjoy breathtaking, panoramic views as you make your way along the Rhaetian Railway to Switzerland. This UNESCO World Heritage-listed line passes across 196 bridges and through 55 tunnels as it snakes its way over the Bernina Pass, 2253 metres above sea level. This is one of the most spectacular railway journeys on Earth, so be sure to have your camera at the ready! Overnight at Lucerne.

Day 06 LUCERNE : Explore Switzerland’s mighty Mt Titlis. Visit Mount Pilatus.

On a clear day, you can see 73 alpine peaks from the summit of Mount Pilatus! Visit the 'Dragon Mountain' on the Golden Round Tour, which is covered in your Trip. Cruise to Alpnachstad, then it's a spectacular ride on the world's steepest cog railway to Pilatus Kulm. On the way down, take the cable car with panoramic views to Kriens and a bus trip home. An alternative is the brand new cable car from Fräkmüntegg to Pilatus and there is also fantastic summer toboggan run and plenty of walking trails.

Explore Switzerland’s mighty Mt Titlis in style from Lucerne. Enjoy the 1-hour train ride from Lucerne to Engelberg and admire panoramic views over Switzerland’s beautiful countryside. Next, you will head to the cable cart station, and begin the ascent to the top of Mount Titlis. As your cart climbs closer to the summit, you will be treated to stunning views over the Alps, with mountains, valleys, and crystalline lakes stretching as far as the eye can see. Cable car & Ice Flyer Tickets are Included. When you reach the top you will have the chance to explore the Glacier Cave, with its centuries-old ice tunnels and fresh glacial air, and the Titlis Cliff Walk, which offers 360-degree views and an exhilarating route across a suspension bridge.

Day 07 LUCERNE : Visit Interlaken & Meiringen.

Board the carriages of the Luzern-Interlaken Express(Golden Pass Train) with their huge panoramic windows and enjoy the scenic countryside en route to Interlaken. You'll cross the stunning Brünig Pass at 1,003m and experience the landscapes of the Hasliberg region. You could follow the track along the shore of Lake Brienz into Interlaken for lunch and Sightseeings or change trains to visit pretty Meiringen. Meiringen has a very interesting geographical position. Situated just along the Hasli Valley from Brienz, Meiringen sits on a sunny plateau between several mountain passes: the Brünig Pass which leads to Lucerne, the Susten Pass towards Wassen and the Grimsel Pass to Gletsch. There is so much to explore, with the variety of natural wonders characterised by water: ancient glaciers, glistening lakes, roaring waterfalls and bubbling streams. Meiringen offers a large range of hiking trails to suit all levels, with wonderful views of the Engelhorn, Wetterhorn, Eiger and Mönch mountains. You could start from the village or take the Hasliberg cable car to the Alpen Tower which has spectacular views and serves as the departure point for many hikes. Overnight at Lucerne.
