ITINERARY : -

Day 01 INTERLAKEN : Visit to Engelberg & Interlaken. City tour of Lucerne.

Today after breakfast we shall proceed towards Lucerne. Photo stop at either Lake Lucerne or at the Lion Monument. Afterwards Enjoy a brief orientation drive with your tour leader where he points out the main attractions of this charming town like the Chapel Bridge, the Town Hall, the Jesuit Church, and the Culture and Convention Centre (KKL). etc. Next, To get to Mt. Titlis, you need to travel to Engelberg where you need to have purchased the excursion ticket. On arrival at Engelberg, take a leisurely 30-minute walk to the Titlis valley station & a break for lunch. Once you have your tickets exchanged, you will take the first gondola, the Titlis Xpress, from the base station to Trubsee and on to Stand. Then change over to the next gondola Titlis Rotair - The rotating cable car - which will give you a 360-degree view of the Alps as you make your way to the peak. Mount Titlis is a fun mountain and has snow throughout the year. Once on top, enjoy the Cliff walk (you get to walk on the highest suspension bridge in Europe!), Ice Flyer chair lift and Glacier Park.For adventure lovers, there are also various activities, including a zipline at Trubsee. Once you have had your fill of the mountain, head down and make your way to Interlaken. Today´s journey has beautiful landscapes with high mountains and lakes. Breathtaking scenery in the region of Interlaken. Interlaken, a picturesque village nestled idyllically between Lakes Brienz and Thun. Along with your tour leader visit neo-gothic Church of Heiliggeistkirche, and discover the history of the monks who founded the town, and how religious wars have shaped the history of this region. Wander through the Garden of Friendship, the first Japanese garden in Switzerland built as a symbol of friendly relationships between Interlaken and Otsu, in Japan. Have a view towards the mid-19th century Casino Kursaal, one of the most popular and prominent night venues in the city. Overnight at Interlaken.

Day 02 ZERMATT : Explore Bernese Oberland. Drive through the Most Scenic Ride in the Swiss Alps - Grimsel & Furka Pass.

(If weather permitted. Normally open from May till October)

Your expert tour leader will show you the best parts of the Bernese Oberland (region of Interlaken). Sightseeing places we can visit during the tour are: Interlaken town - Grindelwald village - Lauterbrunnen village - Wengen / Kleine Scheidegg - Trümmelbach Waterfalls. Passengers wants to do Jungfraujosch can leave the group at Grindelwald. Next, by afternoon we drive on shores of beautiful lake Brienz towards Meiringen,the starting point os Grimsel Pass. Continue to drive towards Gletsch while seeing beautiful scenery of Grimsel Pass. Next, we continue our drive to Realp via amazing Furka Pass - the Most Scenic Ride in the Swiss Alps. First of all, the best way to drive the Furka Pass is from west to east without doubt, as it's the west face that's the most fun to drive, so you should always try to tackle a pass driving up the best face. Later we drive to Tasch from where you can take a electric train or car to reach your hotel at Zermatt.

Day 03 GENOA : Visit Alpine Resort of Zermatt.

Visit the alpine village of Zermatt with it's typical chalet style, surrounded by high alpine peaks, the Matterhorn in face all the time. Discover the old part of Zermatt and viewpoint, from where you will have all this "postcard" views to the Matterhorn. You can Cross stunning bridges, ride through galleries and tunnels, idyllic forests, past gorges and mountain lakes as your climb the Gornergrat on the cogwheel train with the Matterhorn continually in view. At the summit, explore the picturesque alpine world of the Swiss Alps. After lunch we shall proceed towards Genoa. Check-in to your hotel after Indian dinner.

Day 04 NICE : Explore French Riviera.

Today after early breakfast continue your journey towards French riviera. You’ll drive into the hills above Monaco and stop in the medieval village of Eze, most prestigious village on the French Riviera, has two features. It is at once a hilltop village and a small seaside resort, with protected beaches. Take in the fantastic views and the world-famous perfume factory Fragonard. In the city of Monte-Carlo aera, the casino is the symbol of Monegasque glamour. Its legendary success lies behind Monaco's wealth. Your tour leader will also take you for a drive on the Monaco Grand Prix track. Next, continue to Cannes. The city of Cannes with its famous promenade which borders the sea from the point Palm Beach to the Palais des Festivals. The palace is the first mythical building along this path. Feel like a movie star as you walk up the world-famous steps! Next your tour follows the coast road, driving through Antibes, where Picasso once lived. You’ll see the old town and the harbor. The drive then takes you to Nice. In Nice you will spend free time in the old town, you enter as if walking into a labyrinth. Following a tangled thread of streets, you walk past ochre, red and yellow houses with half-open shutters. In this maze, let youself be guided by the scent of herbes de Provence (Provencal herbs), pissaladiére and traditional socca. In the squares, both large and small, you can savour a pastis or a lemon ice cream. In every nook and cranny, Baroque palaces and churches reveal their endless treasures. Overnight at Nice.

Day 05 Montpellier : Explore Saint-Tropez, Aix-en-Provence & Arles.

Depart Nice, and drive approximately 100 kilometers (60 miles) west through the Maure forest. Upon arrival at Saint Tropez, discover some of the beautiful beaches, such as Pampelonne, Caneliers, and Bouillabaisse. Go to Place des Lices to see where the movie stars and locals get together to play a game of boules or sip pastis under the plane trees. After lunch we will proceed towards Aix-en-Provence. Stroll on the famous Cours Mirabeau dotted with refreshing fountains. Admire the private mansions from 17th and 18th centuries. See the Four Dolphins Fountain and other amazing sights in the vibrant city like the City Hall and the Cathedral Saint Sauveur. Continue your journey towards Arles. Discover the Historic city of Arles, a fortified town listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Participate in a walking tour of the historic center to visit the most emblematic monuments of the town including the Amphitheater, the Antique Theater or Saint Trophime church. Later proceed towards Montpellier for overnight stay.

Day 06 PARIS : Montpellier - Paris, enroute visit Clermont-Ferrand.

After breakfast depart for Paris. Enroute explore Clermont-Ferrand. Clermont-Ferrand is a university city in central France, bordered by the volcanic Chaîne des Puys mountains. Wander the charming historic center and port district of Clermont-Ferrand. Take a break in one of the many squares. Café Pascal in Place de la Victoire is a popular choice with locals. Then head on to Clermont-Ferrand Cathedral to admire this Gothic church made from local black lava rock. If you fancy some afternoon culture, visit the well-regarded Natural History museum, Museum Henri Lecoq. It is Clermont-Ferrand’s oldest museum, and houses over 650,000 specimens and objects. Learn about everything from botany, zoology, geology and paleontology to the history of science and technology. It is open 6 days a week most of the year. Alternatively, stop by L’Aventure Michelin (the Michelin Adventure), which tells the story of Clermont-Ferrand’s own Michelin tires. This is one of the city’s most highly rated tourist attractions. The museum examines the history of the rubber tire, as well as looking at its use, including in space travel. It’s an interactive experience with lots of exhibits that appeal to both adults and children. Reach it by tram from the city center to Stade Marcel-Michelin station. Continue your journey towards Paris.
