Day 01 ZURICH : All flights leads to Zurich.
Today you embark on your tour when you board your flight to Zurich. On arrival Check-in to your standard class hotel . later discover the highlights of Zurich during this panoramic tour! Get an overview of this stunning town and important city for Switzerland. Learn about the banking secret, the Romans who built a toll station here, admire the charming medieval old part of town and enjoy a magnificent viewpoint over Zurich City and the Lake area. And last but not least; ask all your questions to your private driver-guide and get some recommendations about where to eat and what to do during your stay in Zurich! Your driver cum guide will show you the highlights of Zurich City, such as the Bahnhofstrasse (main commercial area), financial district, university area, viewpoint over the city and the main churches.He will show you this charming old part of town, with lots of bars, restaurants and clubs. Day 02 INNSBRUCK : Lucern city tour. Visit to Mt. Titlis.
Breakfast at hotel.We leave Zurich at 0830hrs and pick you from your accommodation. A short drive takes us to the city of Lucerne. We visit the Lion Monument and walk over the 14th century wooden bridge, time at leisure for sightseeing. Later we proceed to the mountain resort of Engelberg. A cable car ride to the summit of Mount Titlis brings you up into the high alpine region with its galaciers and eternal ice. Enjoy a magnificent ride in the world's innovative revolving Rotair gandola. Continue your journey towards Innsbruck. Overnight at your first class hotel at Innsbruck. (B)
Day 03 SALZBURG : City tour of Innsbruck. Visit Swarovski Cryratl World . City tour of Salzburg.
After breakfast visit The Golden Roof also called the Goldenes Dachl, the structure has been made in 1500. The roof has been decorated with fire-gilded copper tiles for Emperor Maximilian I's wedding. The Golden Roof is a beauty for the eyes with its decorated balustrades retracing the Emperor's life. Stroll around the town with your Indian driver-guide panoramic as well as walking. Later we shall move towards Wattens. Upon arrival, you explore Swarovski Crystal Worlds - one of the most visited attractions in Austria. Together with your private driver-guide, you explore 16 Chambers of Wonder to see works of many artists, designers, and architects who interpreted crystals in their own unique ways. Your tour end with a visit to the outdoor garden and explore the magic of crystal in all its facets at exhibits and attractions such as the “Crystal Cloud” of some 800,000 hand-mounted crystals. Later we move towards Salzburg. Pass Mirabell Palace, and spot the gardens where Maria and the children famously sang ‘Do-Re-Mi’ in The Sound of Music. Continue to Salzburg’s historic Old Town to see St Peter’s Abbey, the Benedictine monastery dating back to the 696, and the Baroque Salzburg Cathedral, the site of Mozart’s baptism. Afterward, pass the stately structures of Schloss Leopoldskron, Frohnburg Palace and Hellbrunn Palace, all featured in The Sound of Music. You’ll also see the historic Nonnberg Abbey, where Maria von Trapp, whose life The Sound of Music was based on, was a postulant. Day 04 VIENNA : City tour of Vienna with Schonbrunn Palace.
Enjoy a buffet breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, we proceed towards Vieena. On arrival we take guided city tour of Vienna. The city tour will take us along the Ringstrasse, the State Opera House, the magnificent Museum of Fine Arts with its world famous art treasures of the Habsburgs and the National History Museum, the cultural district of the Museums Quartier, the Hofburg, the Parliament, the City Hall & the Burgtheater.Later we will visit Schönbrunn Palace. The Palace with its surrounding buildings and the huge park is one of the most significant cultural monuments in Austria. It was generally used as the summer residence of the Habsburg rulers.On the way back to the Opera we pass by the Belvedere Palace which houses the largest Gustav Klimt collection in the world. The two magnificent palaces on the Belvedere grounds lie in the middle of a splendid park. They were constructed for Prince Eugene of Savoy by J.L. von Hildebrandt, a famous Baroque architect.Thereafter we provide you with time on the shopping streets of Vienna. Vienna boasts of Porcelain, Glass items, coffee, chocolate, Antiques and collectible items. There is a high density of Souvenir Shops to carry some memories back home. Day 05 BUDAPEST : Guided city tour of Budapest.
After breakfast at the hotel we shall proceed towards Budapest.On arrival take the Budapest city tour. The tour covers Roosevelt Square (Chain Bridge), Academy of Sciences, Parliament, St. Stephen’s Cathedral, Opera House, Heroes Square, Millennium Monument, City Park, Szechecnyi Spa, Vajdahunyad Castle, Chain Bridge, Royal Palace, Liberty Statue & the Citadel..Evening is free for shopping & at leisure. Optionally you can visit the Parliament inside (guided tour). Overnight at your first class hotel at Budapest.
Day 06 PRAGUE : City tour of Bratislava.
Breakfast at hotel. Today we will move to Prague via Bratislava. On arrival at Bratislava, making your way to the city’s Old Town for a Panoramic tour. Learn the rich history behind the city as you pass top attractions and architectural gems. Continue to the Rococo-style Grassalkovich Palace, an 18th-century social spot for Hungarian aristocracy. Then admire the Primate's Palace, considered one of the most stunning buildings in the city. Afterward, refuel with lunch (not included) and enjoy some time to explore independently, perusing the Slovak National Theatre or popping into local shops and cafes. Afterwards we will proceed for Capital of Czech-Republic, Prague. On arrival check into your first class hotel at Prague.
Day 07 PRAGUE : Guided city tour of Prague. Vltava river cruise.
After breakfast start your day by exploring the UNESCO-listed historic center, passing monuments such as the Powder Gate, the Astronomical Clock, and the Old Town Square. Then, stroll through the Jewish Quarter, or head down to Wenceslas Square and the New Town to admire architectural gems such as the National Theatre, the New Town Hall, and the unique ‘Dancing House’. Pose for photos on the famous Charles Bridge and take in the views along the Vltava River as you cross into the Lesser Town, then hear more about Prague’s rich history as you wander the maze-like streets and visit the legendary John Lennon Wall. Escape the crowds to walk around the hilltop Petrin Park, where you could climb the Petrin Tower for a spectacular view over the city or take a tour of the Strahov Monastery (own expense). Don’t miss the city’s star attraction – Prague Castle, one of the world’s biggest castle complexes, where you’ll see Gothic and Renaissance masterpieces such as St Vitus Cathedral, Hradcani Castle, and the Golden Lane. Day 08 MUNICH : City tour of Munich.
After breakfast at hotel we shall proceed towards Munich. On arrival your driver will take you to the stops on your itinerary. These can include:1. Nymphenburg Palace, the main summer palace of various rulers throughout history.2. Olympic Park, a beautiful park and multi-attraction site created for the 1972 Summer Olympics hosted by Munich.3. The Old Town, in the traditional style. Munich has been nicknamed, "the heart of medieval Europe" and "the Athens of the Alps" -- explore the streets, and discover why!4. Marienplatz, the city's main square since the year 11585. The English Garden, a large public park in Munich, and one of the world's largest urban parks.6. Odeonsplatz, in central old-town Munich. Day 09 ZURICH : Visit Neuschwanstein Castle.
After beakfast at hotel we shall proceed for Neuschwanstein Palace. Neuschwanstein Castle, a 19th-century Romanesque Revival palace nestled on top of a rugged hill high above the village of Hohenschwangau. This stunning fairy tale palace was the inspiration for Disney’s Sleeping Beauty and it’s one of the most popular of all the castles or palaces in Europe, drawing 1.4 million visitors each year. Skip the typically long lines to get inside and enjoy a private walking tour of this medieval masterpiece. Explore rooms like Minstrel’s Hall, the Byzantine Throne Room and many more.
